BUFFALO, NY - We have received several calls from our viewers about problems they are still having with Verizon FiOS.
A Verizon spokesperson said Tuesday the company has now performed a universal re-set for a second time. It's hoped that action will clear up the remaining issues customers may still be experiencing.
If you are still having problems, you're asked to call their Customer Service Department at 1-800-VERIZON.
We spoke with a representative about the issue on Sunday. It seems that they were experiencing some software issues with the set-top boxes that bring in the signal to your television.
Crews have been working to restore service to those affected by refreshing the set-top boxes.
Customers who are experiencing problems can refresh their set-top box themselves by going through the on-screen menu options for rebooting your box.
The spokesperson said customers in Western and Central New York, along with Harrisburg, Pennsylvania have been affected and service has been returned to most customers.
