Home Remedy: Makeup Remover
Our tester, Tara, tried out two different all-natural makeup removers. The first is equal parts lemon juice and rose water. You simply put it on a cotton ball and use it to remove your makeup. You want to avoid your eye area because the lemon may sting a bit. This works very well and our tester gave it two thumbs up.
The other recipe is equal parts almond oil and petroleum jelly, with juice from a lemon. This is a bit of a challenge to get into a small bottle to mix, but it does do a good job. It is a creamier and greasier version that the rose water, but our tester says it does the job and would be great for those with dry skin.
They are both all natural options that will save you time and money.
