ERIE COUNTY, N.Y. - Emergency crews were on scene in Cheektowaga Sunday evening to help restore power to customers throughout Erie County.
New York State Electric and Gas (NYSEG) reports that there were more than 1,600 homes without power as of 11:00 p.m. Sunday.

NYSEG estimated that power would be restored by 1:00 a.m. Monday.
