BUFFALO, NY - A vacant home in the city of Buffalo was destroyed by flames early Sunday morning.
The fire was first reported around 4:00am. First responders on the scene found heavy smoke and flames coming from the structure. Fire crews took up defensive positions, using hoses both from ground level and from overhead.
The flames were so intense they spread to an occupied home next door. Thankfully everyone inside got out safely.
Right now, a cause is not known. We're awaiting further details from Buffalo Fire investigators including a damage estimate.
