Rescued Puppy Now Named Gladys
NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. - The New York State Humane Association is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for discarding an 8-week old puppy last week.
The battered dog, named Gladys by shelter workers, was found suffering from a broken jaw near a garbage pick-up site in the 600 block of 30th Street in Niagara Falls.
The Niagara County SPCA interviewed someone who admitted recently owning the female pit bull pup, but claimed they recently sold it to another Niagara Falls resident.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Niagara County SPCA at 731-4368.
