BUFFALO, NY - It's an unexpected visit to Western New York that has people flocking to Corpus Christi Church.
A reliquary, containing the uncorrupted blood of Pope John Paul the second, is on display through Thursday evening at the east side church.
The relic was in Pennsylvania, and is scheduled to arrive in Montreal, Canada on Friday. With some time in between stops, Father Mariusz Dymek offered Corpus Christi as host.
Those wishing to view the relic of the holy father in person can visit the church on Thursday, between 10am and 8pm.
Channel Two Photojournalist Dooley O'Rourke got to view the relic on Wednesday. You can watch the story in the viewer above.
