BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bills, and other NFL teams don't open their books to the public. But each year, we get a look at how valuable the Bills, and their fellow teams are, thanks to Forbes Magazine.
This year, the Bills are number 46 on Forbes list of the 50 most valuable sports teams in the world. The team's value is $805 million. That's $13 million more than last year, when Forbes valued the Bills at $792 million.
The list also illustrates what a valuable brand the NFL is. 30 of the 50 teams on the list are from the NFL.
The only NFL teams not in the top 50 are the St. Louis Rams and Jacksonville Jaguars, but they still rank higher than many major league baseball, and all but one NHL team, the Toronto Maple Leafs.
