Flooding could be found on Campbell Boulevard, Rochester Road and Saunders Settlement in Lockport.
Fire crews responded around 10 p.m. to North Gate Manor Nursing Home in North Tonawanda, where rainwater seeped into several rooms in the facility. No one was injured.
2 On Your Side also found flooding on the Wheatfield-Pendleton border.
Fire reports came in from the Air Traffic Control Tower on Porter Road at the Niagara Falls International Airport and Expressway Village Trailer Park Homes in the falls.
National Grid crews were busy restoring power Friday in places like Amherst - after wind ripped down a power line in the town on Inn Keepers Lane. More than 3,200 residents lost power, including some businesses.
Walmart on Sheridan Drive had to turn away customers. Some street lights were also knocked out - forcing Amherst police to direct traffic at intersections. Around 5 p.m. power was restored and slowly came back on.
But late night storms caused outages from Buffalo to Niagara Falls and many other surrounding communities in Niagara County.
