ANDOVER, N.Y. - If you or someone you know is headed to the Tough Mudder this weekend, there are several traffic changes to be mindful of.
More than 6,000 vehicles and 15,000 participants are expected.

Local law enforcement are changing traffic patterns and closing several roads to minimize congestion.
The following roads will be closed to traffic from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m until 5:00 p.m. Sunday. Residents will have limited access.
- Pingrey Hill Road at the intersection of Swain Hill Road
- Barrett Hill Road at State Route 417
- Jones Road at the intersection of Pingrey Hill Road
If you're coming from Buffalo, take SR-400 until it ends, then continue on SR-16 South to I-86 East. Take exit 30 (Belmont) and take SR-19 South to SR-417 East to CR-12 North. Continue past Jones Road to McAndrews Road South to Pingrey Hill Road South to the parking areas.
The 10-12 mile long extreme obstacle course was designed by British Special Forces and includes everything from underground mud tunnels to a giant ice bath, and even electric shock. The event is held world-wide, and participants have raised more than $5 million to date.
