The Buffalo Garden walk is one of the signature summer events in all of western New York and the 19th version of the walk looks set to continue the tradition that has made it the one of the premier garden walks in the country.

The walk, which has been featured in publications like The New York Times, USA Today and Traditional Home, gives people the opportunity to take a free walking tour of over 370 gardens throughout the city.

The event runs through Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. rain or shine.

Here are a few more things to know when checking out the Buffalo Garden walk.

-Want to see all the gardens but don't want to walk all around Buffalo? The Garden walk has free continuous shuttle buses that run predominately down Richmond ave and Delaware ave.

-The Garden Walk is a spread out event but clusters of gardens can be found at the Garden Walk headquarters at 206 South Elmwood Ave and 337 Summer Street.

-Because this is a walking event there are no designated parking lots for it. However parking can usually be found near Symphony Circle and the intersection between Elmwood and West Utica.

-Wheelchairs, Bikes, Baby Strollers and Dogs are all permitted but remember that some gardens may not allow them. Don't forget to check each garden for a sign to see if it has restrictions.

-Even if you can't make it to the Garden Walk this weekend there are still plenty of other opportunities to enjoy local gardens. Other walks or tours include the Ken-Ton Garden Tour and the Black Rock & Riverside Tour of Gardens.
