Allen Park, MI (Sports Network) - Detroit Lions running back Reggie Bush
returned to the practice field on Friday, though his status remains up in the
air for this weekend's game against the Washington Redskins.
Bush exited last week's 25-21 loss at Arizona in the second quarter after
taking a shot to his left knee and was held out of the previous two day's
sessions before taking part on a limited basis on Friday. The Lions have
termed him questionable to face the Redskins.
The offseason acquisition had a terrific debut for Detroit in Week 1,
compiling 191 yards from scrimmage that included a 77-yard touchdown catch in
the club's 34-24 win over Minnesota.
Defensive tackle Nick Fairley, who sat out the Arizona game with a shoulder
injury, is also questionable after being a limited practice participant during
Right offensive tackle Jason Fox is expected to miss a second straight week,
however, due to a groin pull he sustained in the season opener. He is listed
as doubtful along with reserve safety Don Carey (hamstring).
Wide receiver Patrick Edwards will not play Sunday after spraining his ankle
against the Cardinals.
