BUFFALO, N.Y.- The board of directors at Lakeshore Hospital says they have yet to receive any sufficient offers for the re-sale of the building.
Earlier this month the hospital announced it would close in January.
The announcement came after a proposal was submitted by local businessman Anthony Borello to buy the building.
"It really is the desire of the community to continue operations at Lakeshore. It's the desire of Tony Borello to do so, it's the desire of many people who support his efforts here. I think we have a viable plan to do that and I very much hope the entire board will facilitate us with that plan," said Borello's attorney Barry Covert.
The board says it has several leads but will not discuss any of them at this time.
