BUFFALO, NY- High winds caused tree limbs and power lines to cause down all over WNY.
Several large trees were uprooted and many limbs came crashing down due to the rain and high winds overnight and early Friday morning.
Nearly 19,000 WNYers were without power for much of the morning and early afternoon.
About 2,600 National Grid Customers are without power throughout WNY as of 4:50pm.
There are 764 NYSEG customers without power in Erie and Niagara Counties.
Estimated restoration times are varied depending on where you live, and how long the repair will take.
The gusty winds will slowly subside during the afternoon and evening as temperatures also decline through the 50s and into the 40s later in the evening.
