(bisons.com)-One of the hottest teams in the International League kept the tides rolling on Monday night at Coca-Cola Field.

Norfolk collected its 10th win in 11 games with an 8-3 victory over the Bisons in the first game of a four-game series in downtown Buffalo. Travis Ishikawa homered twice and former Herd outfielder Jason Pridie also went deep in the game.

The Tides banged out seven extra-base hits to hand Dave Bush his second loss of the season.

Ishikawa hit his first home run with one on in the second inning, making quick work of the Herd's early 1-0 lead. The first baseman then led off the fourth inning with a blast to deep right-center that kick-started a four-run rally that included a two-run shot from Pridie.

Lew Ford and Jonathan Schoop drove in runs in the seventh inning to seal the Tides win.

For the Bisons, Luis Jimenez added two to his International League RBI-leading total. The designated hitter singled home Moises Sierra after his first-inning triple. In the fourth, Jimenez launched a mammoth home run that cleared the Bully Hill Party Deck in right field and landed in the Bisons parking lot.

Jimenez now has 29 RBI in 24 games this season. He finished the game 3-4 with his first stolen base of the year.

The series continues with a single game Tuesday evening at Coca Cola Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
