Students are engaged by the "Unanswerable Weather Question" prompting creative thinking and introducing the concept that weather affects all aspects of life.  The Weather Machine been on the road at over 100 schools throughout New York and has brought the science of weather to life for more than 50,000 Western New York students.  To find out how to bring The Weather Machine to your school, CLICK HERE.

Andy grew up in the southtowns and is no stranger to lake effect snow having a real appreciation for the way Western New York & Southern Ontario weather can change with just a few miles.  His travels have afforded him first hand experience with all types of weather ranging from Caribbean hurricanes (Marilyn, Luis & Charley) to tornadic outbreaks and the traditional nor'easter coastal storm.

His compelling live reports along with a clear and consistently accurate presentation has allowed him to represent the area on the national stage by providing coverage to the Weather Channel and affiliates across the country.

An accomplished public speaker, he has routinely made appearances at both business and community events receiving recognition from local organizations for his service and contributions.

When not predicting the weather, he can often be found outside enjoying it! Andy is a sports enthusiast and photographer who enjoys kayaking the waterfront as well as taking in many of the summertime festivals throughout the area.
