Six Month Drug Investigation Lands Four Time Felon In Jail

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Drugs continue to be a profitable business on the streets of buffalo, but there is one less drug dealer on the streets.

The Erie county sheriff's office and the Buffalo Police Department arrested Jacob Burkhard of Eggert Road Wednesday and confiscated a total of approximately 12 ounces of cocaine with a street value of close to twenty thousand dollars, and approximately 18 thousand dollars in cash. Burkhard is a four time convicted felon currently on parole for drug possession.

Burkhard is charged with an A-1 felony for possession of cocaine in excess of eight ounces, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a toddler and another child were with him at the time of the arrest. Burkhard is being held at the Erie county holding center pending his arraignment Thursday.
