BUFFALO, N.Y. - Catholic Health is temporarily restricting visitors at its facilities to fight the spread of the flu.

Catholic Health is limiting visitors to people ages 14 and older.
Administrators are also urging anyone with flu-like symptoms not to visit friends of loved ones until they are well again.
Affected hospitals include: Mercy Hospital, Kenmore Mercy, Sister's Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital.

Affected long term care facilities include: Father Baker Manor, McAuley Residence, Mercy Skilled Nursing Facility at OLV, St. Catherine Laboure and St. Francis of Williamsville.

The restrictions also include the neonatal intensive care units and maternal-child areas at Sisters and Mercy Hospitals.

The visitor restrictions will remain in effect until Catholic Health clinical professionals determine they are no longer needed for patient and visitor safety.
