Armed Robbery in Kenmore

KENMORE, NY--  Kenmore Police are investigating a report of an armed robbery in the village.

Police say officers were called to a home on Stillwell Avenue Wednesday evening. 

The victim told police he was in his driveway when he noticed two males on a black BMX bicycle.  He told police they turned around, and one of the suspects, who was on the handle bars, hopped off the bike, and displayed a handgun.   The victim emptied his pockets and gave the suspect his iPhone.  The suspect got back on the bicycle and the two traveled towards Winchester. 

Witnesses who saw the incident said the male on the handle bars got into a red car and drove off.  The suspect riding the bike, continued on Winchester towards Crosby Field.

The area was searched by police and the incident remains under investigation.

The suspect that had the gun is described as a light-skinned black male, wearing a white t-shirt and khaki shorts.   The other suspect who was riding the bike is described as a black male about 5'9".
