BUFFALO, N.Y. -- A 31-year-old Buffalo man is under arrest Saturday, accused of fatally shooting two people late Friday and early Saturday morning.
Buffalo Police officers say Michael Moore shot his girlfriend, Kayla Humphries, in their Crestwood Avenue home, where her body was found late Friday night. Then he went out and shot a male in his 30s outside a minimart on the 2200 block of Bailey Avenue, just after 1 a.m.
Buffalo Police Department Spokesman Mike DeGeorge said in a statement released Saturday afternoon that investigators believe the suspect had had a previous "run in" or some type of dispute with the male victim.
Buffalo police officers later arrested the suspect at a home on Wyoming Avenue. Homicide detectives are now working the case.
Moore He has been charged with second-degree murder.
In the meantime,a fund has been set up to benefit Kayla Humphries two young children.
