Five Injured in South Buffalo Crash

BUFFALO, NY - Four adults and one child were taken to local hospitals following a serious two-vehicle accident in South Buffalo.

A Mazda sedan and a Chevrolet Trail Blazer collided on South Park Avenue near Aldrich Place just before 3:30pm Friday. The Trail Blazer landed on its side as a result.

The 36-year-old male driver of the Mazda is in fair condition at ECMC. Two 16-year-old males in that vehicle were treated and released from Women and Children's Hospital, according to a statement from Buffalo Police.

An 8-year-old female  from the same vehicle is still being treated at Women and Children's for internal injuries.

The 56-year-old male driver of the Chevy Trail Blazer is in fair condition at ECMC.

The cause of the accident is still unknown and no names have been released yet, but investigators say charges are pending.
