BUFFALO, NY-- It's back to school for kids attending a former charter school.
Buffalo Public School #115, which was Pinnacle Charter School, opened for the first time as part of the city school district. The school's sign and signature artwork were removed from outside the school
The district took over Pinnacle after the state revoked its charter last month.
The rest of the district started classes last Thursday, but
superintendent Dr. Pamela Brown said that the school needed an extra few days to get a staff in place.
The school has a new principal and several new teachers.
Dr. Brown says they've been working with the Pinnacle leadership, hoping for a smooth transition.
