ORCHARD PARK, NY - Buffalo Bills Head Coach Doug Marrone fought back emotions during the game and tears during the post-game press conference. Marrone is mourning the loss of a close friend back in Syracuse, Onondaga Community College Athletic Director Rob Edson. Marrone said he believes that Edson was watching over him and the team today.

Marrone also said that while he is thrilled with the victory, there is a lot to work on and correct. "Offensively, we moved the ball at times, but there were some criticals [errors], you know again a penalty came up that really hurt us, we made a couple of tough reads and I don't think we made the best decisions."

Marrone added that one of the bright spots was the play of running back C.J. Spiller who had 103 yards on 16 carries. "CJ came back to run the ball well, he had some big runs out there and that's going to continue to help us."

Marrone also spent a lot of time talking about how well the team dealt with adversity and pulled together.

"I'm proud of this team for believing in each other and I think that's important. I don't think we ever lost faith when the defense held up like that."

"When you make mistakes, you miss a field goal, you turn the ball over, you have penalties in crucial situations, you don't have a lot of opportunities to win in this league because it's so close, but I'm proud of the team and the coaches for hanging in there. We're going to look at the film and go back to work knowing that we have to correct a lot of things."

"I think the real story is with those players in that locker room and their faith, we know we have to get better."
