Toys R Us Murder Suspect Violates Restraining Order

Bernard Grucza being led into Hamburg Town court

BUFFALO, NY--  Bernard Grucza, the suspect accused of murdering a Toys R Us manager in Hamburg, is accused of violating an order of protection.

Grucza is charged with criminal contempt, a felony, for violating the order by calling his wife Heather on the phone October 25th while in custody at the Erie County Holding Center.

A judge granted Heather Grucza an order of protection against Bernard Grucza following a domestic incident this past June.

Bernard Grucza is accused of murdering Toys R Us manager Larry Wells in the store in June.   Grucza was arrested after DNA recovered from evidence at the scene matched Grucza.

Grucza is back in court on November 25th at 7pm.
