BUFFALO, N.Y. - The Sabres will host the Pittsburgh Penguins on Sunday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. as part of NBC's Hockey Day in America.

The Sabres game will air on Channel 2 and NBC and is part of six straight hours of coverage on NBC.  This is the second straight year the network has celebrated hockey in the United States.

To preview the event and break down the Sabres' season, 2 On Your Side's Ben Hayes spoke with NBC hockey analyst Pierre McGuire.

McGuire believes the primary reason for the Sabres struggles on the ice this season has been team chemistry.   "I think it was just a disconnect from the very beginning," said McGuire.  "There were a lot of players that were paid a lot of money and they were coming from the outside, so there was a chemistry issue early on."

The NHL trade deadline is set for February 27th and McGuire believes the Sabres will be sellers.  "You try to move along maybe a Paul Gaustad whose got some value around the league and you try to get younger.  I can't see the Buffalo Sabres being buyers, they were buyers in the summer."

Following the Sabres-Pittsburgh game on Sunday, NHL fans will see Boston face Minnesota starting at 3:00 p.m. on Channel 2.
