BUFFALO, NY - An Orchard Park man has admitted to stealing medical supplies and equipment from a local hospital and the company he worked for.
Joseph Raymond, 39, pleaded guilty Friday to grand larceny and other charges before Erie County Court Judge Michael Pietruszka.
Joseph admitted to taking nearly $2 million worth of items from both South Buffalo Mercy Hospital and Synthes, Inc., where he worked as a sales representative. The thefts took place between January, 2002 and December, 2010.
Raymond also failed to report income gained through the thefts on his state tax returns.
Judge Pietruszka could sentence Raymond to up to 26 years in prison when he's sentenced in June.
