BUFFALO, NY - The case against a teenager charged in the November beating of an elderly church deacon is now heading to a grand jury.
Justice Feggans, 18, appeared in Buffalo City Court Tuesday afternoon for a felony hearing.
Feggans, a star basketball player for Riverside High School, was arrested last week and charged with robbery and burglary for his role in the attack on 96-year-old Levi Clayton.
Police told 2 On Your Side's Claudine Ewing that more arrests are expected but they are working to make sure all of the evidence is in place before that happens. Clayton's family said they will put up a reward if those arrests don't happen soon.
Mr. Clayton continues to recover from his injuries, but his niece says his life will never be the same.
