BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo Police are investigating their first homicide case of the new year.
Buffalo Police say 42-year-old Christopher Cotton, of Buffalo, was struck and killed by gunfire just after 1 a.m. Saturday near Kensington Avenue and Castle Place. Police say the man was in a vehicle at the time he was shot.
Detectives say the man was declared dead at the scene.
