ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- When the lights went out at the Super Bowl in New Orleans, former Buffalo Bill and current analyst for the NFL on CBS, Steve Tasker was the first one to tell millions watching across the world what happened.
Tasker working as a sideline reporter for CBS when the power went out in the third quarter of Super Bowl XLVII. In the immediate aftermath, he was the only reporter with a working microphone, camera and earpiece that CBS could rely on to describe what was happening on the field and in the stands.
