NORTH TONAWANDA, NY-A North Tonawanda man is facing a reckless endangerment charge after he allegedly fired off a shot that wound up in his neighbor's house.
Police say it all started around 12:30 Friday when a woman living on Fairmont Street said she was baking in her kitchen when she heard her china cabinet shatter and found a hole in the wall nearby.
Michael Stafford, 64, living next door at 600 Fairmont, claimed he discharged the weapon by accident and did not think it was even loaded.
No one was hurt. Stafford is being held on $500 bail.
