CHEEKTOWAGA, NY - A friendship that started over forty years ago at flight training school adds a new chapter this week.
Jack Lang, of the Town of Tonawanda, was a flight instructor in 1969 when George W. Bush entered that program.
Lang went on to a twenty five year career as a police officer.
George W. Bush went on to become the forty third President of the United States.
Despite their different paths, the two men have remained in touch.
So, when the former President was making the guest list for the dedication of his presidential library, he was sure to include his old friend Jack Lang and his wife Katherine.
On Tuesday morning, the Lang's headed to Dallas for the festivities, but before they left, they spoke with Channel Two Photojournalist Dooley O'Rourke about their pride for their friend the President.
