Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Dodgers and manager Don Mattingly have finalized a contract extension, general manager Ned Colletti confirmed Wednesday.

No terms of the deal were announced, but according to multiple reports, the agreement is expected to keep Mattingly in the Dodgers' dugout through 2016.

Mattingly's previous contract was set to expire at the end of the 2014 campaign.

The Dodgers went 92-70 last season en route to claiming the National League West crown. They advanced to the NLCS before falling to the St. Louis Cardinals.

Last year's postseason berth was the first for the Dodgers during Mattingly's three-year tenure. The 52-year-old bench boss has a record of 260-225 with Los Angeles.
