Claudine Ewing is a Reporter and Fill-in Anchor at WGRZ-TV.
Claudine's professional career started in radio news where she worked as an afternoon news anchor, and a morning drive reporter.
Claudine is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Buffalo where she earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism with Honors. In 2004, she received the Young Alumnus Achievement Award.
Claudine has earned several awards from the Associated Press for special news series and breaking news. She has also been nominated for a NYS Emmy Award.
Claudine's alma mater, Buffalo Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts, awarded her with their annual Excellence in Broadcasting Award.
In 2004, she was honored with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's "Outstanding Community Service Award". In 2013, Medaille College's Department of Communication awarded Claudine as "Reporter of the Year in Television."
Claudine is a member of the Buffalo Association of Black Journalists, the National Association for Black Journalists. She also serves on the Buffalo State College Alumni Association Board of Directors and chairs the Marketing Committee. She is also a member of the local Gannett Foundation.
Claudine enjoys Bible reading, music and sports.
