Janet Snyder interviews Dr. Sandra Block from the Buffalo Medical Group. They discuss how sleep can effect one's overall health.
Dr. Block is a Board Certified neurologist and sleep medicine specialist. She serves as medical director of the new Buffalo Medical Group Adult & Pediatric Sleep Center in Williamsville. Her areas of particular interest and expertise include adult neurological disorders and conditions; adult and pediatric obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome and narcolepsy.
Dr. Block's Tips for Insomnia Sufferers:
1. Stick to a good routine - same time to bed and same time to rise each morning
2. Turn your clock around at night so you can't see it.
3. Go to sleep only when you feel sleepy!
