a study suggests it may not be the cold of winter that leads to a seasonal increase in heart-related deaths... it's our lifestyle!

researchers at a los angeles hospital analyzed death certificates from seven u-s locations with different climates.. ranging from arizona to massachusetts.

they'd theorized that colder weather might increase blood vessel constriction and raise blood pressure, leading to an increase in heart deaths during the winter months.

but cardiac deaths were similar in all climates. doctors think we simply don't eat healthfully or exercise enough during the winter.
