A new study confirms that folic acid supplements do not increase the risk of cancer.

british researchers reviewed all large studies done on folic acid and found those who took daily supplements for five years or less were no more likely to develop cancer than those taking a placebo.

even people taking the highest dosages did not show more incidence of cancer -- and there was no increased cancer risk for longer folic acid treatment.
