Good night's sleep increases healthy eating and exercise benefits

Getting a good night's sleep boosts the benefit you receive from healthy eating and exercise.

Researchers in the Netherlands found the risk for heart disease went down among people who combined four healthy habits -- like a balanced diet, exercise, not smoking and drinking alcohol in moderation.

However, when they also got at least seven hours of sleep -- their risk for heart problems went down further.

They say people who don't get enough sleep are more likely to have high blood pressure and cholesterol, which increase the risk for heart attack.
