Herbal supplements may contain more ingredients then label claims

A new study suggests buyer beware when it comes to some herbal supplements...

Canadian researchers tested 44 herbal products... and found 60-percent contained ingredients not listed on the label.

Some had fillers with laxative properties. one contained black walnut not listed on the ingredient label, which could be harmful to people with nut allergies.

Some products were completely authentic, though. experts recommend talking to your doctor for advice on herbal supplements.

More than 20% of the products contained fillers such as rice, soybeans and wheat not listed on the label.
