BUFFALO, NY-- A Buffalo man faces felony charges after he was arrested for DWI and endangering the welfare of a child.
New York State Police say Christopher Rosado, 25, was arrested Sunday night after troopers observed Rosado traveling over 100 MPH on the I-190.
When troopers pulled the vehicle over, they discovered Rosado's two, small children in the back seat. Troopers say the children, ages two and six, were not properly restrained.
Troopers also say they noticed an open container of an alcoholic beverage.
Rosado has been charged with two counts of felony aggravated DWI (Leandra's Law), two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and several vehicle and traffic violations.
The children were turned over to their mother. Child Protective Services was also called to investigate.
