Two Arrested in Fredonia Vehicle Entries

FREDONIA, N.Y. - Fredonia Police have arrested two men after an officer spotted several open car doors in driveways on Eagle Street around 4 a.m. Saturday.

Fredonia Police arrested 21-year-old Angelo Montante and 22-year-old Jake Pollinger after a homeowner on Eagle Street told police that someone had entered his home and stole a cell phone.

Investigators say the two men were found nearby and then fled on foot when officers attempted to speak with them.

When police caught up with Montante and Pollinger, police say they were found with stolen property.

According to a press release, both Montante and Pollinger were charged with criminal possession of stolen property 5th degree and obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree. Police say Montante is also charged with 3rd degree burglary.

Fredonia Police ask that if you believe that items are missing from your vehicle, to call Fredonia Police at 679-1531.

Police also remind everyone to keep their cars and homes locked at all times.
