LANCASTER, N.Y. - Thousands of ladies got a bit muddy as they raced through obstacles and raised money for a good cause.
The "Dirty Girl Mud Run" isn't your typical 5k race. It features numerous obstacles, including a giant rope wall and a large inflatable slide, complete with a muddy splash pool at the bottom.
Money raised goes toward breast and ovarian cancer research.
Eight thousand women took part Saturday. The race continues Sunday, and more than 2,000 are expected to participate.
