Buffalo, NY-- Steady rainfall from last week caused some minor flooding locally with rainfall totals of more than 3 inches in several locations. Buffalo is now nearly 2 inches above average with rain so far this month.
I calculated rainfall totals from Tuesday to Friday: Buffalo Airport 3.14", Depew 2.82", Kenmore 2.42", Franklinville 2.29", Lyndonville 2.05", Glenwood 1.92", Lockport 1.70", Rushford 1.69", and Jamestown 1.68".
My intern Chase also crunched some numbers and found that 32.2% of Buffalo's total rain so far this year fell last week.
The forecast is shaping up for those who like the warmer temperatures and sunshine. (You'd be surprised, I still get complaints about a nice forecast.)
Partly sunny for Monday with highs around 70. Rain showers and thunderstorms for part of the week with highs staying at least above average in the 50s and 60s.
