Buffalo, NY (July 31st) -- As we wrap up July, I looked back at the rainfall and temperature data for the month in Buffalo, and did some calculations.
I found that 74% of the days were at or above average so it was a warm month.
55% of the days were wet. Rainfall was below average at 2.86", the average is 3.23".
However since June 1st Buffalo has received 10.02", more than a few inches above the average of 6.77".
And a few locations in Niagara county, including Lockport, received well above average rain for both June and July, with two rounds of flooding rains.
August appears to be starting out wet and cool with a drying trend.
