Buffalo Blondes vs. Brunettes is an event where Buffalo and WNY's most prominent young leaders come together to raise awareness of Alzheimer's and raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association, Western New York Chapter in support of their mission to eliminate Alzheimer's disease. The concept is built around the main event, a flag football game in which the two participating teams are comprised of women, playing on the age-old rivalry between blondes and brunettes.
The last three games have raised a combined $120,000 for the local Alzheimer's Association. This helps them provide programming, services and research to find a cure. This year's goal is to raise $75,000 by game-day. 97 Rock's, JP and Jickster will be emceeing the game. The Buffalo Jills will be selling balloons for the annual balloon release. Buffalo Bills Alumni, Andre Reed will be a celebrity coach and face painting and henna tattoos will be available for the kids.
