Even though it is still snowing outside, there is plenty of gardening you can do inside. Like taking care of your house plants. African violets are still in bloom and look at how beautiful they are. A trick to keep them blooming is remove the dead flowers. Go in and pick the dead flowers off. That way you'll keep on blooming. With this African violet in the next couple of weeks I'm going to need to transplant it. There's 2 plants in here. African violets like to be transfered once a year because they will split. It will start to get a neck, the bottom of the plant will come up to the ground. This one won't bloom until I get it transferred. Keep picking off the spent blooms. If I turn it this way you'll see the flowers and it will look beautiful.
