EAST AURORA, N.Y. - You might not guess it from the old building it's situated in, but Tony Rome's on Main Street is a great place to bring a family.
The restaurant in the 190-year old Globe Hotel may very well be haunted (the old stagecoach stop a common destination for paranormal investigators). But there's nothing to be afraid about when it comes to the food.
It's hard to find better ribs in Western New York than the ones you'll find at Tony Rome's. Basket lunches come with the restaurant's delicious homemade potato chips. The excellent chicken sausage is stuffed with cheese and bacon. The grilled chicken salad is a local favorite and comes with a tasty lemon-garlic dressing. And for families- kids eat free on Thursdays.
