SOUTH WALES, N.Y. - Unique Eats just had to check out a place that's made a name for itself mixing dairy and daisies.
As you might guess from its name, Scoops and Stems in South Wales sells flowers and ice cream- so how did that unique combination get started?
It was originally a florist and gift shop...but the owners decided that ice cream would be a good way to support the business in the hot times when the flower business slowed down, and vice versa.
The parlor serves a Western New York favorite, Nick Charlap's ice cream, and serves up a wide variety of dairy treats that also include gluten-free and sugar-free options. Unique Eats can testify that the peanut butter fudge lover's sundae is well worth the trip.
You'll find Scoops and Stems at 6549 Olean Road in South Wales- look for the Subway store that shares the same building.
