BUFFALO, N.Y. - Another public information session was held Wednesday night to educate the public about the impact of the proposed Peace Bridge expansion project on Buffalo's west side.

The project would increase the size of the truck plaza and the duty free store.

The project has come under fire by some residents who say they have been exposed to diesel fumes and particulates that are unhealthy. Some people living on the West Side are concerned about cancer and respiratory problems.

Back in July, the state announced that the Department of Environmental Conservation will do testing to get an accurate benchmark reading of the air quality as plans for the peace bridge expansion take shape.
