BUFFALO, NY - -Students at Cardinal O'Hara High School are learning a valuable lesson about caring for others.

This week they held a dress down day and raised hundreds of dollars to buy supplies that are desperately needed in the devastated parts of New York and New Jersey. Principal Holzerland says,

"Giving back and helping and caring is a big premise and part of our mission at COHS... We encourage students that it's all the time and everywhere and we want to help where we can."

With so many supplies collected, the students are looking for a truck to be donated for a few days that can take all the supplies to the affected areas in the near future.  If you have one that you would like to donate to the cause, just contact Cardinal O'Hara High School in Tonawanda at (716) 695-2600.
