The latest job numbers were released Friday morning, and they're painting a pretty positive picture for the economy.
According to the Labor Department, unemployment fell to 7.7 percent last month -- the lowest since December of 2008.
Overall, U.S. businesses hired 236,000 workers last month. The biggest gains were made in construction and manufacturing.
While the numbers are encouraging, economists say it's still below the 250,000 jobs needed each month to significantly reduce unemployment.
