WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. - With summer officially here, what sounds better than ice cream?
They've got a whole lot of it at Alethea's on Main Street in Willamsville, just east of Transit Road.
It's named for the owner's great-grandmother, who was a famous confectioner in her hometown in Greece.
The old-fashioned dessert cafe makes a wide variety of homemade treats from frappes to sundaes to delicious ice cream sodas. Unique Eats tried out the Pecan Turtle Frappe and Chocolate Ice Cream soda and can definitely vouch for their deliciousness.
Also in the building is a colorful, packed-to-the-brim chocolate shop with just about every variety of candy you could want. Alethea's is especially known for its bourbon cherries and sponge candy.
It's open from 10am-10pm every day and you can check out the website here.
